The loveable, familiar characters of Millar's content make another appearance in 'Loving Arms around me'.

What is particularly fascinating is the fact that despite the characters walking off into the distance with their backs to the spectator, we are still drawn in, and are invited to take a closer look, wanting to know more about the story behind each character.

There is an exaggeration of making the feet look extra bold as the characters walk away from the viewer. This highlights the reoccurring subject matter which preoccupies this particular series of Millar's work.

The vibrant red balloon particularly stands out against the aluminous white of the background, suggesting the fun the child has just experienced.
