True to his form, this is a fantastic and contemporary painting depicting the seasonal period of the city. We can see the back view of the central character walking off towards the houses, whilst other, younger figures play happily in the snow.
You can almost imagine the cold hitting the Gadgie's face as he is hunched over somewhat probably trying desperately to warm his hands in his pockets.
