A relatively early limited edition by Alexander Millar and in tribute to the famous musical comedy 'Singin' In The Rain'(1952) starring Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds!


A collaboration between Alexander Millar and Jeff Rowland who both painted parts of this painting.

A gadgie enjoys the simple pleasures of expressing himself through dance whilst the rains showers down around him. Endearing for us and exhilarating for the man, as he is unfazed by his drenched clothes!

‘Gadgie’ is of course an old term used by Northern English and Scottish people to describe an older male.
