This item was part of the special 'Atelier Collection' releases which Alexander Miller and some other Washington Green artists have released over time - they all have special hand finishing on the canvas. This item is actually a stretched (floppy) canvas and comes 'slipped' (a painted wooden border), which is basically its border. The colour of the slip is a pleasing off white and is usually just over 2 inches wide. Hanging fittings, if requested in advance, can be fitted onto the slip and the item can therefore be hung as is. However, the standard way is for the 'slipped' item to be framed and then hung on your wall, with the fitting on the outer frame as normal
