Delving into the working class ethos is something Millar has grown up with, so it is inevitable that his work is laced the working man. As the elder gentleman makes his way down the stairs underneath the arches, a condensed atmosphere of colours take place portraying the pollution which stems from the factory chimneys in the distance.
Although the nature of the piece should feel like it should be dull with lack of colour, Millar creates the exact opposite and paints the streets with brilliant green and pink tones. The artist is certainly unique in his visual creations and this is another wonderful addition to portray this.
