- Bowie and Lennon where friends & collaborated together: 'Fame' (1975) was co-written by Lennon & was Bowie’s first US and Canadian No.1

- George & Freddie had met and George was a great admirer of him.

- We are not sure if George met Amy, but he was in awe of her and wrote: 'This is the best female vocalist I’ve heard in my entire career, and one of the best writers.'

- He even wrote a duet for her in 2011 but was too scared to approach her; his favourite
song of hers was the ballad 'Love Is A Losing Game'.
