Does any other person/s represent Britishness more than Winston? How about these other gentlemen featured in Ben Jeffery's - ‘Trotters Independent Traders' - Original’ lol.
With reflective sunglasses and badges on his lapel, including a Union Jack Flag and the CND (Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament), perhaps he is being stylised as a member of the 60s counterculture movement?!
He is also of course in his usual Homburg hat, polka dot dicky-bow and cigar & Ben has made him look much younger that his years here, with a smooth complexion. Even his pin stripe suit seems modern!
A nice little touch is the reflected image in his sunglasses of the Houses Of Parliament & Big Ben and Jeffery has painted him giving his famous 'V' for victory sign, what else!
