Downhill All The Way by Bob Barker

Laced with brilliant crimson and cerise tones, this image shows the pure fun and joy that there is to be had with riding you bike all the way down the hill. As the sun sets, we can view glimpses of brilliant light hitting the back streets which occupy the picture and you can see how this really highlights against the cherry tones of the buildings.

There are subtle splashes of green which sit nicely on the sides of the houses and this is welcomed refreshment from the few other colours which are embedded within the painting. A fabulous piece of work from Barker and an excellent addition to the collection.
