The year 2015 marked the 70th Anniversary of VE Day, Victory In Europe and a cessation of hostilities in one of the bloodiest wars ever seen.
It is fitting in that celebration of peace, that Bob Barker takes us back to the trenches of WWI and in the first year of hostilities.
On Christmas day somewhere in the trenches, some the soldiers of the opposing sides of Britain and Germany ceased fire and came together in no man's land to play football & sing Christmas Carols.
This bronze sculpture is a reminder of our potential for peace and our humanity
