Another delicately painted watercolour by Carly Ashdown of a young girl making a splash in the shallows and not unlike many of the works of another great impressionist artist, Sherree Valentine Daines and the limited edition 'Walking The Shallows' comes to mind.
Both women obviously share a skill in depicting the joy de vivre and innocence of childhood and Carly's work appears to be even more modern, with even 'less' in her pictures - a style that is proving very popular with her fans.
A very similar original has been released at the same time called 'The Adventure - Original' do take a look! as it appears Carly has painted the same child from a different angle.
