'The Adventure' is quite apt, as Carly allows us to follow this girl on her own one into the shallows on a day out on the beach.
I love the use of grey and dark blue hues for shadow and the white that is blended into the purple of her bathing suite, perhaps depicting movement or the splashes of the water.
Her hair has been given some golden paint highlights, to give us the impression of light reflecting off her, as the sun gently gazes down.
This is the sister piece to the painting: 'Exploring - Original,' the only problem is deciding which of the two watercolour you like the best!
