Here, Caroline Shotton introduces us to two new characters that take the form of slightly woozy looking Giraffe's; the woozy look being explained perfectly by the title of this piece, 'Dizzy Heights'.
The obvious shift seen in this piece is the fact that there isn't a cow in sight. However, these aren't the only recent changes made by Shotton.
Caroline shifted from using acrylics to oils in 2011, and loves the results that this change has brought to her artwork.
The other change is her move away from textured backgrounds, as instead Shotton has headed in a more traditional direction by creating simple backgrounds that are dusky looking and rich in colour.
