I wonder if this second release from autumn 2014, is a nod to Shotton's previous box canvas: 'Hay Day' (Autumn 2011), undoubtedly one of Caroline's most popular ever releases.
They certainly look very similar with three cows in the hay but this time with green, rather than red, hues in the background.
'May Day' celebrates the festivities of the annual bank holiday festival and this is cheekily seen by the cow having flowers in her hair, something we associate with the celebration except its usually women!
This is slightly bigger than its predecessor: 45 x 30 inches ('Hay Day' was 44 x 27.5 inches) and will make a superb centre piece in your home.
