Nocturne, Venice by Cecil Rice

'Nocturne' translated from French is simply 'nocturnal', so here we have ‘Venice At Night!’

Another Cecil Rice from the archives and although the image looks a bit grainy (as the jpeg is small) I can assure you the real silkscreen print looks incredible in real life - another wonderful Venice scene.

The electric lights of the building and lamps illuminating beautifully the Grand Canal & I believe that is St Mark's Cathedral (Basilica di San Marco) in the hazy background.

A must have silkscreen by one of the best Venetian artists!
