2019 saw Charlotte's welcome return to published limited edition art. In early 2019, she self-published her first pair of watercolour prints: 'Awaken Your Senses' & 'Knowing' - a departure from her usual oil & acrylics but displaying brilliantly her talent in this medium.

In 2012 she launched a New collection of six gorgeous on board prints, with explorations into gold and orange paints and others playing with a gold and blue-aqua palette – the largest artwork being: 'Aerial.'
Charlotte was born in Plymouth in 1973 and, due to living by the coast, grew up with a natural fascination of the sea. After completing her illustration training at the University of Derby and Hereford School of Art, she chose to move to Scotland, where she was invited to be the artist in residence at a rural centre for the arts.
Since then, she has displayed her work in galleries across the UK from London to Inverness, and has even had a successful exhibition in Dallas, Texas. Charlotte Atkinson was awarded Artist Exhibition Winner at the Fine Art Trade Guilds Awards in 2000. This prestigious award created a lot of publicity and caused her first collection of limited editions to sell out within weeks of going on sale.
Charlottes art is created by the use of oils, pastels and inks to represent energy and emotion through colour. Some describe her work as semi- abstract, with misty figures which appear to be floating as if in an oceanic dream-world. According to Charlotte, her aim is to create reflection of the spirits within us, in the hope that it conveys her message: that beauty shines from within us all.
Charlotte remained Demontfort Fine Art publisher’s top published figurative artist throughout the late nineties and into the noughties, culminating in the 2006 final limited edition releases: 'Awaken Love I & II'
