Queen Of Hearts by Chess

A tribute to Playboy magazine and some of artwork, photos, drawings (and indeed articles) that would appear inside and here Chess has embellished her main drawing of a Playboy Bunny with snippets from the 25th Anniversary Release, way back in 1979.

In itself, this is a fantastic graphite drawing of a Playboy Bunny set inside a Queen Of Hearts playing card, perfectly capturing the exuberance of the 70s.

Playboy magazine was a massive seller throughout the majority of its run and into the noughties; still in publication, it went completely online in 2020! and the last magazine was published 17th March 2020.

As usual the following original newspaper and magazine articles have been cut out and used to form the original painting:
