‘Baark!’ is of course a tribute to the great American pop artist Roy Lichtenstein (not Lick-the-shine lol), showing a man and his beloved dog visiting an art museum & viewing one his most seminal paintings.
Chris has perfectly recreated the Lichtenstein on the wall, which is Roy’s 1963 diptych called 'Whaam!' (no, not the pop group!).
Interesting ‘Whaam!’ has been on display permanently in London’s' Tate Modern since 2006, if anyone local to us wants to pop along!
