It is as though you are peering at each other through a hole in a fence and Colin’s artistic message is to remind you that there is no such divide between us and this great animal - we share the world with them.
The artist certainly has a talent for eyes and conveying deep felt emotional experience through them; from a distance the rest of the animals appears to be photo-realistic and this achieved through Bank's immense talent and many, many hours in his studio.
