Dig Deep by Craig Davison

'Dig Deep' (2018) was the genesis of Craig Davison's The Riot Girls characters that the artist would go to have massive success with in galleries; he is still today evolving them with new painting ideas.

The young girl with blue dyed hair appears to be in a boxing match and has no doubt knocked out her opponent! as she ‘digs deep’ and becomes the very first anti-hero 'Riot Girl.'

This was a special release in December 2018 but would go on to be part of the debut Riot Girls Series the next year: the ‘Craig Davison - Rebel Without A Pause Collection’ (January 2019).

She wears bold fashion colours: 1970s inspired flower-patterned dress, yellow socks and blue-purple shoes and has chosen her own ruby red (full size!) boxing gloves. A confident young girl making her way in the world and indeed in the ring!
