Craig's hilarious take on Ghostbusters' Dr. Peter Venkman (played by Bill Murray) & his nemesis, the ever hungry ghost 'Slimer,' two massive icons of the franchise!

Two kids dress up as Venkman and Slimer using props of a caulking gun & white sheet, how very Scooby-Doo! I love the refreshing green background Craig has painted and nice touches including an Ecto-1 toy car and green Converse trainers on one of the children. I didn’t even know you could get those colours in 1984, I’m so jealous lol!

The original Ghostbusters is a classic 1980s hit film directed by Ivan Reitman (famous for his many comedy movies) but interesting I learned it was actually written by two of the actors & Ghostbusters: Dan Aykroyd & Harold Ramis. Harold famously directed another comedy, the hit film 'Groundhog Day' also staring Bill Murray!

The original first film aired in 1984 and interest in the 'Ghostbusters' has never really gone away, nor the ensuing affection and nostalgia for the movie.

Those of a certain age will remember the cartoons: 'The Real Ghostbusters' (1986), its sequel 'Extreme Ghostbusters' (1997). Craig, having previously worked as a cartoonist, will I'm sure know them well and taken further artistic inspiration when painting 'I Ain't Afraid of No Ghost.'
