A beautiful new release by the ever talented Danielle O'Connor Akiyama & her first limited editions for 2023.

‘The Golden Reach’ continues Danielle's remarkable ability to create large canvases paintings and for them to 'work' as limited edition (reproductions) on 2 or 3 individual canvases; this particular style is 1 large image broken down over 3 images for what is known as a ‘triptych.’

I notice she has taken some of the pale blue colour palette, representing a waterfall, from her last release 'Mountain Travels' & used it her the main colour for aqua in The Golden Arch.

We have seen series of 3 before such as ‘Trilogy Of Wonder I, II & III’, which are different background colours & essentially different paintings, but this is her very first of hopefully many triptychs.

You maybe aware of the success of other artists from the same publisher such as Simon Kenny, who has produced 2 successful Triptych series: 'The Light Fantastic - Triptych' (2020) and 'Cloud Song - Triptych' (2021) - these have been best sellers in UK galleries.

Perhaps we have stumbled onto a new phase of Akiyama releases!

As usual these canvases have lush colours are hand finished with her gloss resin, for show stopping effect!
