Working as a professional artist over the span of the past twenty five years, artist David Leeming has worked on several creative career paths including, scenic painting and the visual mind behind advertising. He started out his professional career in illustration and has since never looked back.
His versatility that lay with his chosen subject matters enables a wide range of influences from the great painting masters before him to that of social media to form a balance between contemporary images to classical subject matter.
The bold leap to become independent and do no longer work under the ruling of others was the right direction for his artistic visions and this meant that the artist reaped personal rewards meaning that he was now able to work as the professional artist in which he dreamt of being.
His latest series show his floral collection which are highlighted by the use of darker backgrounds. The colours are vibrant and exciting showing a burst of energy and fantastic understanding for his subject matters.
His commissioned works involve creating completely original works and celebrating them around two large English country houses. Alongside continuing to create commissions, Leeming also teaches art classes and this can be based in both the Netherlands and the UK.
