Dion Salvador Lloyd is a self-taught artist, and coming from a family of art, was surrounded by the arts from an early age, hence his middle name. Just as their creativity passion for music, he found self-expression through painting. Failing that "O" at the level of art, a sabbatical 14 followed, after which time he resumed painting with a fresh perspective and new ideas.
During his sabbatical Dion found sitting on a beach in Turkey contemplating. A few months earlier, had lost all their belongings in a fire and is now disappointed with his career in the hotel industry. He sat down facing the sea, with the nostalgia inside the burning; He felt that had nowhere to go and no home to return to. That day he made a promise to himself that when he found a home and a place that would fix the paint, the feeling that there is something beyond what we needed to be explored and expressed through that medium.
With his father was a sculptor Dion always interested in the process of creating art. Initially enter the painting as a hobby hoped that one day it would be good enough to be displayed alongside his father in the ordinary work of a field in Green Park, London. When we finally realize this goal and set their work with others was overwhelmed when he sold his first painting on its first day. Thereafter Dion created their own regular in Green Park pitch, and after working in restaurants during the week, traveling there every weekend to exhibit and sell their work. This gallery was not comfortable environment in which people speak in whispers muted, the work is being erected on the sidewalk and the audience is the general public by walking. Without inhibitions of a gallery space, whether the public is free to move on to comment on what they see before them, both positive and negative views are shared with the same openness. That would be the difficult terrain for every artist, every weekend, exposed to the natural elements and the passage critics, however, in this work environment Dion flourished. It became increasingly focused and disciplined, in direct response to the challenges offered. From this point of his work evolved rapidly, as is their determination and faith in his own work and his ability.
Dion has given himself to work full time as an artist and enjoy the freedom and expressiveness that goes along with it. It is refreshing little about what it does and has no illusions about himself or his art. His style is developing through the determination and discipline, learning and practice, and feels there is always room for improvement.
