Boy Racers by Doug Hyde

Speeding in their convertible, the boys are embarking (pardon the pun!) on their trip out.

This image was followed up in 2014 with the eponymous limited edition print: 'Boy Racers II.'

With his passengers being dogs, their ears flap back as the wind rushes through their fur. I don't know what you think, but the dog in the passenger seat looks as though he has car sickness!

With a huge smile on Hyde's character's face, he is definitely in his element and loves the thrill that speeding his car brings.

This adorable image is mounted and makes a humourous and charming piece to add to your Hyde collection.

Doug's character is out for a spin with his four dogs in the return to this popular theme in 'Boy Racers II'

This is the 3rd image to be released in the 10th Anniversary collection and the publisher is releasing 1 jpeg per day.

I love the simple colour tones of a red car set against a clear blue sky, while the focus is on the man and his beloved four legged friends.

This image as always, is sure to sell out fast.

After a long break the Boy Racers are back and this time the car is red (not blue as in 'Boy Racers') and Doug has painted the man and his dogs as a side on pose.

It does look like the car has just been polished and is a sparkling red.

A reimagined image of the original limited edition 'Boy Racers' & I do wonder if this will appear as a limited edition sculpture in the not too distant future? I certainly hope so.
