We can all relate to this poor feline's dilemma, as it's the dreaded weekly weigh-in time at Cat Slimming World and she knows that she may have consumed one too many iced mice during the intervening 7 days since the last scale-shocker. Buy hey; darn it, those pesky iced mice and chocolate sparrows are way too tempting!

Welcome to the infinitely narrative and sublimely illustrated world of Doug Hyde and his marvellous (yet calorie-counting) moggies (other, equally appealing critters are available), as he gives us another timely insight into the workings of his visual mind in the conceptual, limited edition print, entitled 'Breathe In'.

As indicative of his new artistic direction starred in the rest of his new, autumn 2013 series, there's a distinct sea-change in presentation values, as habitually vibrant palettes have been exchanged for the seriously mono-chromed look.

I suppose we don't really consider our pets being weight conscious but nonetheless Doug Hyde wants to remind us that even our feline friends like to look their best.

'Breathe In' is an upright thinner limited print and is very humourous, as though the cat is trying to hold her tummy in to fit into the edges of the picture!
