Connect For Love by Doug Hyde

Not many of us had a childhood bereft of a game of 'Connect Four' and in another mix of nostalgia and whimsy, Doug gives us the limited edition 'Connect For Love.'

The human character, dressed in purple, plays a game of Connect 4 with 'Monty' the black dog as they while away the time, during a relaxing afternoon.

Imagine their surprise when Monty completes the board and has produced an amazing red heart shape, surrounded by the yellow pieces - what are the chances?

It’s the simple moments of spending time with our loved ones, that Hyde reminds us is the most life reaffirming and in this game of Connect 4 there are only winners!

The title is also called 'Connect 4 Love'

A throwback to many of our childhoods, wouldnt it be wonderful if we could have played a board game with our dogs, after all we do throw there ball around when they want to play!

A reminder of the love and even just the friendship we share with our beloved animals, Dougs centres this message through the heart shape being made on the classic 'Connect 4' board game and the famous yellow and red pieces!

This print is also known as 'Connect 4 Love.'

In a deviation from the recommended 'white chunky' frame (for this limited edition), some customer's do prefer the 'black chunky' one depending on the image and of course, where they have in mind for the print.

So here we have the Connect 4 themed picture 'Connect For Love' in the black chunky frame and as you can see it works very well indeed.

I have also seen the title as 'Connect 4 Love' in some places!
