Family Tree by Doug Hyde

The limited print version of a tree full of hearts that matches the 'Family Tree - Sculpture', which thankfully has been released at the same time (usually this doesn't happen and you have to wait!).

The human character, dressed in purple, sits in a tree house with his two favourite pooches: Fuzz the brown & white dog and Monty the black one, within a tree blooming with red, orange, yellow and purple leaves shaped as hearts.

I love the simplicity of this image, the light blue background with slight clouds, the choice of green for the lawn and the single heart that has fallen to the fall, as we await the joys of the soon to come Autumn!

A fantastic and uplifting new release by the ever popular Doug Hyde, this is the limited edition sculpture. Much like recent St. Valentine's day releases, the matching limited edition print has been released at the same time and is available here: 'Family Tree - Picture.'

Featuring Doug's human character and Monty the black dog & Fuzz the brown and white dog, his dear friend, sitting up a tree!

As soon as I saw this, it reminded me of the much older sculpture (long since sold out) called 'Happy Days - Sculpture,' which also features a little human on a swing and the loveable Fuzz once again.

On closer inspection, it is almost the same tree with the white bark and the hearts as budding little saplings!
