These two artworks came out as part of two larger Doug collections, respectively the ‘Looking On The Brightside' (2017) & the 'Making Memories' (2018) Collections.

In fact, ‘You Light Up My World’ was the lead piece on all the marketing within its collection, and this was from a time when Doug decided to experiment with neon colours - also seen in ‘Star Sign’ from the same series!

I initially thought the this was a series of three releases, with the third being as ‘The Message Of Love’ coming out later in 2018 within the 'The Colours Of Love - Collection.' - incidentally this was another Doug Hyde 'Neon' coloured painting.

However, I have recently found out this is a hand embellished box canvas (not a dye sublimation) and is slightly smaller at finished size 29 x 29 inches in the frame.

In my head, I still consider these as a set of three, although strictly they are not!
