In this scene, very reminiscent of Alice In Wonderland and the jars pick me and drink me, our two heroes, the man in the purple and Fuzz the dog, have decided to grab their ladder and open the middle jar.
With Fuzz the dog satiated and engorged from marshmallows, our human hero still has energy after the sugar rush to hug his favourite coloured marshmallow, pink of course!
I guess the smarties and the jelly babies they will eat another time, all in the days work for sweet-toothed heroes.
Doug reminds us that life is indeed sweet and there are many things we can be grateful for! Delicious sweets and the company of our loved ones, to name just two.

This new sculpture is the follow up to the bestselling pair of limited editions from 2018's 'Life Is Sweet - Picture' and 'Pick Me' - but has there been a (deliberate) mistake in the title name? (audience gasps!).
I noticed this sculpture is essentially the limited edition print 'Pick Me' brought to life in figurine form, with the addition of 'Fuzz' the dog added from the 'Life Is Sweet' print.
Arguably this is more Pic 'N' Mix sweets from the days of Woolworths than it is marshmallows! What we can all agree on, is that is a smashing new Hyde sculpture one that you have to remind yourself not to eat!

The main difference is that character Fuzz The Dog is present on the sculpture and looking very full!
A great time to match up editions and make 'sets' and we have done this here with two bestselling editions: 'Pic Me - Picture' released in 2018 (along with 'Life Is Sweet') and the matching sculpture but confusing it is called 'Life Is Sweet - Sculpture' - maybe they swapped the titles up! lol.
Incidentally, the sculpture was released some two years later (2020) and these 3 limited editions have become a very sort after sets. This proves that when Doug releases imagery in dual format of picture and sculpture, it becomes super collectable!
