Perhaps a New character for the world of Doug Hyde, a grey cat sits (does anyone know her name?) comfortably on top of a hill with a lovely purple scarf to keep her warm!.
As she looks up to the single star in the sky, she wishes for love & light to come into the world and most of all, lots of hugs and kisses for her lovely owners!
I believe these are hand finished with diamond dust as well, for extra sparkle.
This starry image reminds me of 'My Lucky Stars - Circular' (2022), with the single star being the focal point of the bright and cheerful half-moon canvas.
'Moonlighting I' is a simple & pleasing image but as usual for Doug conveys a deeper message of hope & wonder; he skilfully blends blue, white & black paint to form an extraordinary night sky backdrop.
