My World by Doug Hyde

One of the earliest Doug Hyde limited editions featuring: Doug's purple character sitting in front of a house, 'Fuzz' the dog cuddling up and 'Jess' the black and white cat having a sleep on a halfmoon!

A few years later the artist would release this image as an amazing sculpture, with an overwhelming sell out response & a simple yet eye-catching naive design!

The stone wall has been seen on a few recent limited editions by Doug and later in 2014 he would re-imagine this image with ‘My World II.’

Originally released in November 2009, 'My World I' was a limited edition print celebrating home life and the happiness family and our animals can bring us.

An image that had the daylight on the left and the moonlight on the right (night & day), with a cute black cat sleeping on the half moon in the sky.

In the reimagined version for 2014 'My World II,' we have a beautiful and impressive new image celebrating the home (see the little house in the distance) and the beauty of nature.

This has 4 different shades of light and this marks the Four Seasons of the year, from left to right: Spring, Summer, Autumn and finally Winter on the far right.

With the same main characters as the original painting, the man and the brown & white dog in the centre and this time the cat has jumped in the snow on the right hand side and is no longer asleep on the moon!
