Power Cut by Doug Hyde

Caught in the act! Looking decidedly shifty in our opinion, are a gaggle of cuter-than-cute animals who appear startled as we stare right back at them in celebrated contemporary fine artist, Doug Hyde's latest pictorial reveal.

'Power Cut' illustratively ensures that we meet the acquaintance of a dog, cat, rabbit, hedgehog, mouse and duck, all popular and recurrent animal-tastic themes deployed in Hyde's work on a regular basis.

Brought to our attentions in full, glorious Techno-monochrome-colour, every creature's eyes graphically suggest wide-eyed shock at the sudden loss of power/light; although on account of their miniscule peepers, Messrs duck, mouse and hedgehog can't, sadly register the same levels of visual exclamation.

Near enough all the characters from the 'Rural Retreat' collection are present in 'Power Cut' but to be honest this limited edition could easily be what happens when a photographer says 'Say Cheeeeessseee.'
