Summer's Here by Doug Hyde

'I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ice Cream.' I don’t know if you ever heard that same verse when you were at school? but I certainly did, although usually the excitement would come when we heard the Ice Cream Van music!

Doug paints the archetypal ice cream as a 99' flake with cool raspberry sauce! A simple naive image with the view slightly upwards so the ground is hidden and we only see the character and the sky.

This is of course part of the 'Doug Hyde - Great Escape Collection' (Summer 2022).

We meet the human character in yellow holding the sugary prize, not often seen in Doug's limited editions, and a picture perfect summer's day and blue sky.
