An offer of a flower (I think it is a red rose?) is the theme of this latest Doug Hyde sculpture.
The man, in his traditional purple clothed outfit, it seems is offering us, the sculpture owner, a piece of his heart, with the gift of a rose.
It appears almost life size to the little character but who could reject such a sweet offer?
I certainly can't. This would make a lovely edition to any Doug Hyde collector & shows that he is developing is artistic ideas and continuing to keep things fresh and exciting.
