Situated at the peak of the hill, these two adorable characters are surrounded by naively depicted tulips. I love the youthful element in which Hyde always pours into his works, this captures the innocence of the piece, yet executes emotions brilliantly.
The combinations of coloured pastels are spectacular too, for example the mixture of vibrant reds, cerise pinks and softer pinks create an explosion of colour at the forefront of the Giclee. I love that you have to really delve into the picture to look at the expressions of the two character's faces. This almost makes the piece feel like a journey, in which the audience travels to reach the peak of the image.
