In For Repairs by Duncan MacGregor

For the first time Duncan MacGregor shows you a painting of his magnificent boats in the workshop being repaired or prepared for the new racing season, and it allows you a different visual art experience.

Duncan play with greys, white and dashes of earthy yellow and reds from this new palette. I love how he has formed the corrugated and aged sides of the metal repair shed, the use of glistening white paint for the left hand boat & the various light coming in - truly magical!

New for May, we have this amazing limited edition canvas: 'In For Repairs,' and a never before seen (from the artist) setting of Duncan's boats in the repair sheds.

It is wonderful seeing the artist's versatility as he paints every surface with perfection, lovingly recreating the scene and I think Duncan could turn his impressionist abstract talent to any subject or vista - clearly not just boats sailing the oceans.
