This is almost a reworking of the much older release ‘Breaking Waves II,’ another best seller at the time, and Duncan replaces the main background canvas with a much softer blue hue.
The sea itself is a kaleidoscope of colours and interlaced with masterfully applied brush strokes, and this works beautifully with the tall ships and their purple and white painted masts; it must take an extraordinary creative mind to use such bold colours confidently!
