February 2020 sees Matt embracing modern technology and using Facebook to poll his many followers as to what his next wonderful creation should be!
Matt Buckley designed ‘Edge Sculptures’ have been widely distributed in exclusive British Galleries since at least 2015.
In the ensuing 5 years, he has built a reputation as on the UK's most collectable sculptors, bringing to life wildlife and other eclectic designs such as: Romanian Gladiator Busts, Cyber Men & Tutankhamun to name just three, and back into gallery spaces & your homes!
They are very much Modern contemporary sculptures, inspiring and emotive to all who see them, Edge Sculpture remain adamant that they should remain affordable to the general public, reinforcing the notion that I also hold, that art should be accessible to as many of us as possible.
What I continually fine amazing about his pieces is the quality of the product and hand painted finishing, they are simply stunning to view in person, tactile and encouraging of your (delicate!) touch.
Matt works from an art studio in Shropshire in the English home counties, busy bringing his inspired imagery into the world as 'original' sculpture creations, used to mold and then cast his beloved by many Edge Sculptures.
He selects his next subject either by feedback from galleries and customers or something that he is personally motivated to create - Wildlife Conservation & Animal Protection is always high on his agenda.
Making and distributing sculpture, including a Doctor Who range! has been a family affair for more than a generation of Buckley’s. But no one was more surprised than Matt, when his own created sculptures where put forward and rapidly outsold other products; organically things grew and popularity for his artistic work rose until finally he formed the brand Edge.
