Silence by Emma Grzonkowski

The latest Emma Grzonkowski limited edition now available to pre-order and simply called: 'Silence,’ and her first for 2023 - an edition of just 25!

It appears to be the same model as 'Rise Again - Original' and to me could be Emma G herself! as she is very skilled at these self-portraits.

A reflective and emotive piece, here the model's eyes are closed as she is deep in conscious thought, sitting within the silence that pervades.

Emma uses a silver, aqua and blue colour palette and displays her considerable talent at creating skin tone and light reflection (even with just greys & white paint!), as well as imbuing the canvas with generous streaks of bright colours.

'Silence' has a fresh’ just out the studio’ feel, as though her brush has just been lifted off this beautiful box canvas, moments ago!

As are many of her more recent limited editions: each canvas is hand finished by the artist, is 36 inches (91 cm) square & can be hung on your wall straight away or framed at an extra charge.

As usual, a 'canvas' edition is the most vivid format for enjoying a limited edition, other than purchasing an original painting of course.

Emma Grzonkowski stands out from her contemporaries, as she is one of a few artists that personally hand finish her canvases & this is done in her own home studio!

She will often document the process on her social media for you to enjoy.

These incredible 'Emma Grzonkowski - Unique Edition' canvases (this is I believe her 5th in the series) are essentially a hybrid between a limited edition & an original, each containing plenty of artistic hand finishing from Emma herself!

Apart from live paint and brushstrokes on each of artwork (making each truly 'Unique'), she also splatters each frame with paint, giving them all a 'fresh out the studio' feel - as indeed they will be!
