Evolution by Gary Hodges

Gary started to sketch the original crocodile drawing in the late 1990s and then published the section that had been completed, as the limited edition print: 'Nile Crocodile' (2000).

Since that time Gary continued to add to the sketch and although deliberately never completing it, the original was sold at auction in 2016 for nearly £19,000.

'Evolution' represents the final stage of that incomplete crocodile!

A large an impressive box canvas limited edition of 'Evolution' measuring over 2 metres long and is simply breath taking!

Gary's limited edition prints work really well in both mediums of 'on paper' or like here, on 'box canvas.' There is something to be said for the simplicity of hanging a box canvas with a frame - so light and refreshing.
