Hayley Goodhead obviously has an eye for painting aggressive silver back gorillas in compromising police situations and you can but laugh at her latest creation, with this character having his mugshot taken.

I think this is also a new interpretation of the classic monkey characterure: 'Hear, See & Speak no evil' intertwined with Clint Eastwood classic film 'The Good, The Bad & The Ugly.'

Don't be distracted from her amazing artistic ability as she skillfully catches the essence of this great ape.

Reminds me instantly of the artist Paul James and his work who these days, in putting such animals in front of graffiti walls and are just as surreal and pleasing to the eye.

This is the on paper giclee version and will need to be framed.

A gorilla very much appears to be in custody here, in the most comedic of new limited edition releases by Hayley Goodhead.

'The Good, The Bad, The Ugly - Canvas' shows a mock artwork of a gorilla having been photographed by an American police department, in the kind of image we are usually see in magazines: photographs of celebrities misdemeanours before they where famous.

I remember now, this limited editions is a depicting what they call a 'Mug Shot,' although I would not advise calling such a huge silverback gorilla a 'mug' to his face!
