The artist seems to be drawing elements from various paintings here, with the flower stalls usually associated with Amsterdam and the Café-esque shops (and lighting) we see in his Parisian limited editions.
More bright colours and use of pleasing orange & yellow paints reflect the warm glow of window lights (& of course Yellow Cabs), or perhaps Henderson is emoting about the magical buzz of this great city!
