A very apt title in this new Spring release by Jeff Rowland, capturing the magic and essence of the Venetian landscape.
The Couple from 'A View To Remember' have jumped aboard their gondola and are taking a leisurely ride to a romantic destination or restaurant with the gondolier effortlessly using his oar to power.
Jeff's painting of light that almost becomes a shaft descending in between the buildings, gives it a Hollywood floodlit effect, as though filming a movie and artificial light has been added by the director.
The water is of course a main artistic attraction here and I like the subtle nuances of colour such as the blue and white pole and the green moss coming up the building, added never before seen colour palettes to Jeff's latest release.
