Notice how she uses a bold, realistic black and white colour palette, enhanced by the slightest bit of colour, to create a sense of spontaneity and immediacy in this original artwork.

Delicate lines merge to draw the tiger out of the canvas, where he seems to lie patiently waiting.

The title instantly reminds you of the world of CS Lewis and the 'Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe,' although I don't remember if there were white tigers in the book? it does remind me of the endless winter the White Witch had magically made Narnia suffer.

Perhaps Jen Allen's her next limited edition release should be a lion and then we will have a fitting tribute to another 'Narnia' character, the great Aslan, lord of all Narnia.
