This is the second in a series of four pieces by Sanders entitled 'Cuban Classics'.

The artist's favoured method of painting is with oil, as it allows him to apply colours in a bold fashion, as seen in this brightly coloured piece.

Another tool used by Sanders is credit cards, as he uses them to create an effect not to dissimilar to that of a palette knife.

Inspired by the light of the Mediterranean, Sanders captures the Cuban heat in this painting.
