As soon as I saw this image, I instantly thought of JJ's limited edition 'Big Bender' (2020) but with Big Ben replaced with the Empire State Building! and Mickey Mouse replaced with Kong lol.

JJ gives us the finale of the classic King Kong movie with this new ‘Concrete Jungle’ limited edition print. The giant ape on top of the Empire State Building and the artist's magic is worked in cleverly all over the picture.

In the clouds, we see an 'I ❤️ New York' image, a slogan that has graced the front of many stickers & fridge magnets over the years lol.

You can also see nods to the New York Times, McDonald’s, Frank Sinatra, the New York Yankees and panther eyes? all super imposed on the concrete of the building, the newspaper bill board even has pink spray can graffiti on it (how on earth did it get up there!).

But wait, Is that Superman and The Flash in the sky? as the two DC Comic Book legends get in on the action! But are they coming to help or defeat Kong?

I love the lighting strike effect on the top of the picture, giving the painting a very Ghostbuster movie feel. Oops! I just spotted Mr Stay-Puft himself to the lefty of the picture in the clouds, awesome!
