Double Feature by JJ Adams

This is the latest addition to JJ Adam’s popular ‘Time Traveller Series’ of art, the last one being: ‘Transporters - Road To Nowhere.’ (Spring 2023). The Artist pulls on our collective heart strings with pop culture nostalgia and three famous cars feature in this scene:

‘KITT’ - the 1982 Pontiac Trans Am from the ‘Knight Rider’ series featuring David Hasselhoff.

‘The Ectomobile’ aka ‘Ecto-1’ - a 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Sentinel limo-style endloader combo car, first scene in the original ‘Ghostbusters’ movie way back in 1984.

‘The DeLorean’ - a time travel vehicle created from a retrofitted DMC DeLorean with Doc's 'Flux Capacitor' fitted, first seen in ‘Back To The Future’ film (1985) starring Michael J Fox & Christopher Lloyd!

There are also many characters here made famous from the 1980 movies and TV shows, left to right:

Robocop, Stripe & Gizmo from Gremlins, Kermit The Frog, Storm Trooper TK241 (from the JJ painting 'The Ballad Of TK421') Boba Fett, and Doc Brown from Back To The Future! - but did you notice Slimer in the back of Ecto-1?
