JJ would reveal the initial concept in the 'Art Bomb' - limited edition picture released in his Spring 2002 Collection.

A brilliant new idea by JJ Adams, creating aluminium WWII mortar shaped bomb ‘sculptures’ and hand painting each one - effectively each are original JJ pieces of art!

The artist has gone on to author almost 30 different designs in this series, each one carefully painted by (his) hand onto the sculpture.

Further, each edition is unique and bespoke so the colours and compositions (even well known brand logos and fonts) are slightly different on each!

During the first phase of releases in Summer 2022, those editions where restricted to 150 original bombs in total and then all those designs where retired.

In September 2022 JJ released the 21st design 'Elizabeth II Reign-Bomb’ to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee - once again just a small series of one-off hand painted originals where made of that design.
