February 2015 and John has released his first new limited editions in a year, with two square and two landscape panoramic, limited editions on board.
'Shimmering Light' is a rather special new artwork and I believe is the first John Waterehouse limited edition that has featured a blue painted sky and the effect is glorious.
Did you notice that this the on board print retains the Warehouse trademark effects?; in the lower half we have the famous sepia colours and also the bush on the upper left is in focus and the rest of the painting remains out of focus and in the distance.
John, this is one of the nicest paintings we have yet seen, well done!
