3D Effect wall sculpture, item is framed and goes onto your wall Down By The Mill 3-D is yet another classic John Wilson 3-D wall sculpture, paying tribute to one of his most beloved inspirations: L S Lowry. For those of us lucky enough to view his work in person at the 'Lowry And The Painting Of Modern Life' exhibition at the Tate Britain (ended in October 2013), one can clearly see the lovingly mastered style that John Wilson has recreated in his work. It is almost a look back at Britain's industrial past and the great sacrifice laid down by those that toiled in the work houses of Great Britain in the 19th and early 20th century. Added to this is the wonderful artistic effect from his 3-D wall sculptures, giving them an almost 'moving' feel as they are viewed and you walk around the room. Have you seen these in person?
